Ingredients

- Oil (enough to cover base of pot) or as desired
- 1 Large onion sliced
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 2 Bay Leaf
- 4 Cloves of Garlic (chopped)
- 2 tsps Kashmiri Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp each of Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder and Turmeric Powder
- 6 large tomatoes finely chopped
- 4 green chillies
- Salt to taste
- Frozen peas (quantity as desired, steamed for 6 mins)
- 1/4 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Heat oil, add onion, cinnamon sticks and bay leaves
- Once onions start browning and is translucent add garlic, salt, sugar, all the ground spices, chopped tomatoes and green chillies.
- Stir well and let it cook on low for 20 – 25 mins, add peas and cook on low for further 15 mins until peas are soft.
- Serve with starch of choice
